Each gorgeous Oregon Big Leaf Maple Burl wood handle is resin-stabilized and hand-shaped for exceptional comfort and unmatched performance in tough kitchen environments.

A final coffee patina (yes, the blade is literally submerged in hot coffee) reacts with the steel to provide an initial layer of protection on the blade, and creates a beautiful dark dual-tone color that is uniquely STEELPORT.
